Caroline Forbes
Caroline is a bright and cheerful person with a large
streak of bitchiness, and is very competitive, especially when it comes
to Elena. It seems that she's not very good at keeping secrets, and
when pushing her for information about Stefan and Damon, Bonnie asks
her, "When have you ever kept a secret in your
life?"
When Damon insults her by calling, “her shallow” she tells Matt that she
does not mean to be shallow and that she wants to be deep. She doesn't
mean to be shallow, but she probably is because of her relationship with
her mother.
Candice Accola was born to parents Kevin & Carolyn on May 13th, 1987
in Houston, Texas and was raised in Edgewood, FL. Candice has one
younger brother. Little is known about her before her early teenage
years, but that is where the story begins.
In Candice's early teen years she found an agent in California. In the
middle of her junior year of high school at Lake Highland Preparatory
School, she moved to Los Angles. Six months later Candice had a deal
for a CD called, "It's Always The Innocent Ones"
(I-Tunes says it was released on December 26th, 2006). Even though
Candice was living in LA and recording a CD she still finished high
school through correspondence and graduated with her class in 2005.
With the release of her CD Candice was asked to be a backup singer on the "Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus Best of Both Worlds tour in 2007" . She later joked to the Orlando Sentinel that she is probably going to have "Nobody’s Perfect" stuck in her head for the rest of her life. Candice went on to appear in popular TV shows, "How I Met Your Mother", "GrSSk" , and "Supernatural ". Along with these shows she also had some small movie rolls as well. She had her first movie roll in, "Pirate Camp" in 2007 and from there she starred in, "Juno", "On The Doll", "X's & O's", and "Dead Girl".
In 2009 things really started to take off for Candice
when she landed a role on the CW's, "The Vampire Diaries".
When asked what her thoughts of Caroline were she responded with these
quote's,
"Caroline’s mother is the sheriff of the town, so that
explains her rebelliousness a little bit. Little things like that and
the banter with her friends and with Bonnie and Elena and just how there
is so much history there. You know when you grow up and you're in high
school and you've grown up with someone and everything changes when a
cute new boy comes into town, and the boy doesn't want you, he wants
someone else. That's going to create a conflict with your friends when
your entire world revolves around getting attention from cute boys in
high school."
She also states, “Caroline Forbes is a girl that knows
what she wants and whether it's attention, whether it's a fun party
dress or whether it's to be lusted after by the hottest guy in school. I
think overall that is the best definition for Caroline".
So to break it down, Caroline is a someone who knows what she wants and
she'll do anything to get it."
