Katerina Graham is a series regular on,"The Vampire Diaries" . Bonnie Bennett, Katerina's character, is a witch and the best friend of Elena Gilbert. It has been noted that her lineage migrated from Salem. Most of Bonnie's scenes are spent chatting with Elena and Caroline or getting caught up in the Hocus Pocus needs of the Salvatore brothers. Bonnie resides with her father (who has never been seen) in Mystic Falls and was known to spend most of her time at her Grams' house in the first half of the series’ first season, before she passed away. She is the fourth Great Granddaughter of her ancestor Emily Bennett, Katherine's handmaid, who lived during the Salem Witch Trials. To keep the vampires of 1864 sealed inside a protected tomb, Bonnie was possessed by Emily in “History Repeating.” Bonnie's supernatural powers consist of: clairvoyance, pyrokinesis, telekinesis, and aquakinesis.
Katrina Graham
Katerina Graham was born in Geneva, Switzerland on September 5th, 1989 to Joseph and Natasha Graham. Raised in Los Angeles, CA, Katerina attended Hebrew School. While in high school she also attended The Musician’s Institute in L.A. From early on in her childhood she was introduced to many different cultures. She speaks English, Spanish and French fluently and has been said to know some Portugese and Hebrew as well. Her father, an executive music producer, is the Godfather of Quincy Jones' two children.
Now labeled as an actress, singer, record producer, dancer, and model, Kat began her career at the tender age of six.
She was featured in commercials for, Barbie, K-Mart, Pop Tart, and Edison. Before establishing herself as a host for the Disney Channel series Movie Surfers, Kat was cast for many minor roles and guest appearances, including; "The Parent Trap" (Jackie), "Our First Christmas" (Bernie), "17 Again" (Jamie), "Chicago Pulaski Jones" (Chaka Lovebell), "Lizze McGuire", "Strong Medicine","Malcom In The Middle", "Joan Of Arcadia" (Angela), "Like Family", "Grounded For Life", "The O.C" (Kim), "CSI: Las Vegas" (Tisha), "Greek" , and "Hannah Montana" (Allison). Selected by Coca Cola at the age of 17, Kat became part of an "international campaign" to promote their soft drink, Fanta. In 2009 she was cast as Bonnie Bennett on, "The Vampire Diaries" .
In a recent interview with Bossip Kat revealed that her agency had dropped her three weeks prior to her landing the role of Bonnie.
Following acting, Kat pursued a career in the music industry, derailed one of the very first songs written by Kat was featured in a, "Jean Claude Van Dam movie" , inspiring her to continue chasing her dream. When producers didn't want to work with unsigned talent, Kat bought her own equipment and with a little help from Damon Elliott (producer and acquaintance of Katerina) began teaching herself how to produce music. She has previously appeared on a variety of music videos; some of which include, Akon's, "Mr. Lonely", 112's, "What If", John Legend's, "Used to Love You", B2K's, "Why I Love You", Musiq, "Soulchild's Buddy". In 2007, Katerina completed a world tour with the "Black Eyed Peas". She is featured in two of, Wll.I.Am songs "I Got It from My Mama" and "The Donque Song" featuring Snoop Dogg.
Katerina Graham has a degree in Recording Engineering.
She lives by the motto, "What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?"
Kat has admitted to being a workaholic. She is obsessed with cooking and in 2009 enrolled herself in culinary school. She enjoys classic 50's and 60's music and Indie Films. The multi-talented Artist has one tattoo located on her inner left wrist; it says, "nosce te ipsum," meaning "Know Thyself".
She is involved with and promotes, "The Peapod Organization", "The ONE Campaign", and "Global Angels" as her favorite charities.
Future roles for Katerina are set to include Hallmark's, "Our First Christmas", and "Bleacher's",
The modern day re-make of, "The Breakfast Club".
