Sean Faris, who plays Ben McKittrick in, "The Vampire Diaries", appears in Episode 12, “Unpleasantville” and made his final appearance in Episode 14, “Fool Me Once”.
When he first appeared, I was like “WHOA", Sean Faris is ON "THE VAMPIRE DIARIES"?!?! He’s insanely hot, you know this already! Bonnie goes to “The Mystic Grill” and sees Ben, a former high school football star of Mystic Falls. After a while, Bonnie excuses herself and finds herself being confronted by Damon.
Ben shows up to save Bonnie from the continuation of Damon’s confrontation. They talk some more and then Bonnie leaves and goes to the dance. Later, Bonnie comes back to the Grill and sees Ben again! She confides in Caroline that she has a small crush on him. Caroline replies harshly that he is just a washed up jock working at a bar!
Later on, Bonnie gets enough courage to ask Ben out, and Ben says yes! Bonnie leaves the grill, and later on as Ben is closing up Anna shows up behind him…she attacks him from the back, but he turns around just in time, catches her wrist and pushes her to the wall.
You can obviously see the redness around Ben and Anna’s eyes, meaning both of them are vampires. Surprised? He calls her sneaky, and Anna says he loves it. Ben tells Anna that Bonnie is falling for him (he refers her as “the witch”) and they start kissing.
In Episode 13, Ben appears in, “Children of the Damned", Bonnie and Ben are about to leave for their date. Bonnie decides to act bold, so she leans in and kisses him, which ends up with Bonnie finding out that Ben is a vampire. She quickly pulls away. Ben asks what’s wrong, but Bonnie says it’s nothing. Bonnie says they should just sit down and have some more coffee, and a few minutes later she excuses herself.
It looked like Bonnie was okay with Ben being a vampire, but when she turned around you could see her face, she tries to make an escape to the backdoor, where Ben is waiting for her, and kidnaps her.
In Episode 14, “Fool Me Once", which was his final appearance on, "The Vampire Diaries" Ben is in Anna’s apartment. Elena was also kidnapped, by Anna. Elena makes it to the door and is about to unlock the dead bolt but Ben stops her.
Ben tries to compel her, but he doesn’t know that Elena is wearing vervain. So Elena pretends to be compelled by Ben, and Ben tells her not to move and Elena says “I understand.” When he walks away, Elena makes a run for it, but Anna blocks her from escaping.
Ben tells Anna he tried the “eye thing” but Anna tells him that he forgot about the vervain and that makes him unable to compel Elena. Both of them throw Elena in the bathroom, where Elena finds Bonnie in the bathtub.
Ben walks in the bathroom when Bonnie wakes up, and Bonnie tells Ben he will not help her, he informs her that is why they also have Elena here. He takes Elena out of the bathroom and Anna starts talking to her.
Later, Ben is in the bathroom with Bonnie, and Anna tells him she’s leaving for a while and to watch both of them. He takes Bonnie to the bedroom and sits them both on the bed next to each other. Elena says she’s thirsty and Ben says she can take the water by the nightstand, Bonnie asks if she can take a sip first.
When Bonnie gets the glass of water, she throws it on Ben, and to our surprise, Bonnie turns it into fire. (Remember, she is a witch!) Bonnie makes it, but Ben catches Elena before she gets out, Ben threatens Bonnie to get back inside.
Ben carfully watches them, and Stefan makes it there! The door opens, and Stefan has the ring on, but Ben doesn’t. The sun will burn him alive, so he hides beside the bed where he is hidden from the sunlight. Stefan tells Ben to leave at dark, or he will kill him.
When Anna gets back to the apartment, Ben tells Anna that Stefan came and saved Bonnie and Elena. They arrive in the woods, and Stefan is setting up a fire and Ben shows up. Stefan says “Didn’t I ask you to leave at dark” to Ben, and Ben said “I thought of it, but screw you!”
Anna shows up with Jeremy and escapes with Ben. Stefan is left with Jeremy. Ben and Stefan are above the tomb, and Ben says he’s heard of Stefan. “The vampire that doesn’t feed on humans,” Ben also thinks Stefan won’t be strong enough to kill him.
“Big mistake kid,” Stefan says, and he makes Ben end up on the ground. Ben taunts Stefan with “Is that all you got?” And Stefan responds “No,” and he puts Ben in the flames of the fire he was going to use for the other vampires, and that is the end for Ben!
Now, back to the guy who plays Ben, Sean Faris! Sean Henry Faris, born on March 25th, 1982, is an American model and actor. He is known for his roles as Jake Tyler in, "Never Back Down" and Rick Penning in, "Forever Strong". (Thanks to Wikipedia for this information)
