After feeding on human, Stefan has so much power and energy! He is training in his room. Damon try's to persuade Stefan to drink human blood again by using blood banks. Stefan isn’t listening to him; he claims to have everything under control. When Damon left, he leaves his cup of blood, but when he remembers about it he returns to take it away.

Jenna and Elena is about to leave home, when Elena’s uncle John shows up. He has some business in town and felt like coming to visit them all. Nobody is actually happy to see him.

Elena talks to Matt, he offers her moral support.

Jeremy and Tyler sit outside. Tyler offers Jeremy to smoke some weed, Jeremy refuses to do that. They don’t understand why Vicki was buried in woods. Police says that she had a drug over-dose. But whoever was with her hide her body.

The founding family members gather in the police office. They prefer to keep Vicki’s real reason of death a secret. Then John starts warning everyone that vampires are back – there have been too many deaths around Mystic Falls recently. Mayor Lockwood asks not to make alarm.

Alaric shows Elena Jeremy’s paper work – “Truth about vampires in Mystic Falls” and they both hope that he isn’t a believer. Elena is hiding the truth and lying to everyone to protect them because of her love for Stefan. Alaric doesn’t understand how Elena can date Stefan. He thinks that he’s a nice guy but he’s still a vampire.

John is trying to persuade Jeremy to go to the “Kick-off” founder’s day party. He also admits that Jenna is mean to him because they used to sleep together.

Elena worries, that Jeremy is out of Damon’s compulsion and may be remembering. Stefan tells Elena she should ask him why he wrote about vampires. She is upset because she can’t talk to Jeremy like she used to, because of all those secrets. Stefan tells Elena that he’s much better now. He had to stay away for only few days (to be sure, that he won’t hurt her) but they both already missed each other (awww…sweet!). They starts making out, suddenly Stefan’s face changes and it looks like he is about to attack her. He jumped off away from her.

Elena asked Damon to come over. He tells her about John in the council. He notices the mess at the place where Stefan fell jumping off from Elena. She’s worried about Stefan and asks for Damon’s advice. He thinks that Stefan has spent too much time by not being himself. He thinks that deep inside Stefan wants to be like him.

Elena asks Jeremy out for a talk. She tells him that she’s adopted. She also mentions his paper about vampires.

Damon and Stefan go to the party. Stefan goes to look for Elena.

Mayor talks to Kelly and Matt, he gives them moral support. Kelly leaves to get something to drink. Tyler gets something alcoholic for him and Matt.

Stefan meets Elena. He’s drunk and claims that drinking helps him to take the edge off. He asks Elena to dance, she is surprised. There was no one dancing, but then Stefan uses his mind compulsion to convince the DJ to play dance music. He dances with Kelly; Damon is surprised that Stefan looks like he is actually having fun. He says to Elena that Stefan will be ok eventually, one way or another.

Alaric meets Jenna and offers her a drink. Matt persuades Elena to dance. Damon compliments Sheriff Forbes, she needed that. Damon is happy about his life in Mystic Falls, but then the Sheriff tells him about John’s thoughts on the blood banks and the missing people. The council thinks they do actually have a problem again. Then Jeremy shows up and asks again about Vicki’s death. She can’t tell him anything more, the investigation is still ongoing.

Elena dances with Stefan, she hits John. He’s rude to Elena and that upsets Stefan. Stefan uses compulsion to make him apologize to her, but that makes Elena worry. He isn’t himself.

John meets Damon on the balcony. He tells him, that he knows about the tomb and thinks that Damon was the one who opened it. He also mentions, that he suspect Damon is a vampire. But John drank vervain all night, so compulsion won’t work. Damon walks away, than returns; he snaps John’s neck and throws him off the balcony (that shocked me so much!).

Elena talks to Jeremy about his conversation with the sheriff. He thinks that someone killed Vicki and buried her body. Elena mentions, that she thinks that too. She lies and says that if she knew anything, she would tell him.

Kelly had a nice talk with Tyler. They both can trust each other. Tyler is sorry about his behavior to Vicki.

Elena and Matt go out for some air and sees Tyler kissing with Kelly. Tyler and Matt start fighting, Matt’s badly hurt, and he’s bleeding. Alaric stops the fight. Kelly was injured too, but she already left.

Damon tells Stefan that he killed John. He tries to follow Damon, but smells and hears Kelly. He touches her injury, and runs away. He goes outside and licks his bloody fingers (yuck!).

Damon is still at the party and he sees John walking around safe and alive! John says the speech for the 150th birthday of Mystic Falls and rings the bell. Damon talks to Alaric. They notice that John has the same ring that Alaric and realize that it must have protected him. Damon thinks that Elena’s father may have had the rings made and gave one to Isobel and one to John.

Stefan leaves the party. One man stands in his way and tries to start a fight with him.  Stefan asks the man to leave him alone. He doesn’t. Stefan caches up his fist and squeezes it. His face changes, but he isn’t attacking.

Jeremy comes home and searches for something in Elena’s room. He finds her diary and reads it. He reads a lines like “Bodies drained of blood”; “Take away Jeremy's pain” and”Vicki's a monster?”…

Mayor Lockwood orders Tyler not to embarrass his family again and slaps his face.

Matt packs Kellie's thing up and asks her to leave the house. He’s better without her.

John teases Alaric and Damon – he isn’t answering any questions, he knows something about Katherine and Isobel. And, if Damon or Stefan ever tries to kill him again, he will tell everything to the council.

Stefan scares Elena in her room. He promised to tell her everything, and so he does. He told her about his urge to feed on human, but she isn’t afraid of him, of his dark side, she promises to help him get through it. (And then there’s a huge hug and wonderful “I love you so much” …)

Stefan walks down to Damon. He tells Stefan about the “John” problem. He also sees Stefan's hunger and encourages him to drink blood and leaves his glass of human blood. Stefan can’t resist himself and drinks the blood.

Well, what’s going to be next? Will Stefan fight his urge? Will John tell everyone about Stefan and Damon? What’s going to happen with Jeremy? Find it out on next week’s episode.

The Vampire Diaries Episode 17 Synopsis
"Let the Right One In"

The episode starts with thunder and darkness everywhere. It’s Elena's house. She’s being awakened by her bedroom window popping open. She gets up and closes it.

Anna is still with Jeremy. He wants to know more about vampires. She isn’t telling him because there is no need for him to know, because he isn’t going to be a vampire. She doesn’t want to turn him. She wants to know why he wants to be a vampire so much. He’s about to answer when Elena comes into the room. Anna disappears. Elena asks Jeremy to help her close the windows because a storm is coming.

Then there is the vampire house. Frederick is sharpening a wooden stake. He tells Pearl that the blood reserves are getting low. He wants to go hunting to get some reserves. She isn’t allowing him to leave the house after the events at the Salvatore house the night before. She tries to explain to them that their not there for revenge, but instead to get their land back. They don’t have to kill any of the council members, as Frederick thinks. They just have to have patience.

Stefan and Damon tell Elena about last night’s events. Elena is very angry about Damon’s deal with Pearl. She is angry about the thought that Damon will get what he wants (again) no matter how many people will get hurt. In sarcastic voice she tells Damon, that she isn’t mad at him because he turned her mother and that she has accepted that he is a self serving psychopath (ouch! :D). Damon walks away. Stefan promises that he and Damon will deal with the escaped vampires. Elena doesn’t want to at sit home and do nothing, but Stefan says that it’s the only way to keep her safe. Elena is worried about Stefan’s safety.

Jeremy and Anna are at the Mystic Grill. Anna notices Jeremy’s bracelet, which Elena gave to him. She understands that it is filled with vervain. She wants to keep her and Jeremy’s relationship a secret. Jeremy wants Anna to keep his bracelet because she likes it and he likes her (that was so sweet! It melted my heart... J). But she wants Jeremy to keep it (probably, to protect him from herself and other vampires).

Matt tells Caroline that he jelled at his mom last night. He’s afraid that if he comes on too strong she will take off again, like Vicki. Caroline thinks that she should get back home. Matt tells her to drive careful and slowly. She promises to call him when she gets home.

Damon is fixing a clock when Stefan is goes out to hunt. At the woods he meets the bad vampires. Frederick sticks him with a wooden stake.

Damon calls Elena. She doesn’t answer. Then he goes to her house. He’s looking for Stefan. Of course, he’s not there. Damon suspects he may know where to find him.

Damon goes to the vampire house. He asks for Pearl to come out. The door is opened by Frederick. Pearl isn’t at home. Damon demands to know where Stefan is. Damon tries to get to him, but he’s not invited in. Frederick promises to revenge Stefan and Damon for all those years he spent at the tomb starving. Then one of the vampires sticks another stake into Stefan. Frederick uses compulsion on the human owner of the house to never let Damon in.

Elena waits for Damon at the car. She sees him running to her and steps outside with umbrella. Damon tells her that he can’t get in. She wants to go in there but Damon isn’t allowing that. He promises to get Stefan out himself, but he doesn’t know how.

Then there’s a horrible scene of Stefan’s torturing at the basement. The vampires have tied him up. They are pulling his arms and legs. Then Frederick drops some vervain in his eyes. Then Harbour asks him to stop. He says that it isn’t right, but Frederick thinks that they are there exactly for revenge and cuts Stefan’s thorax. Harbour tries to stop him. Frederick says that Pearl is no longer in charge and commands others to tie Harbour up and take him down.

Alaric is going to his class when he meets Damon and Elena. Elena asks him to help. She explains him all the situation. She would go in there by herself, but she’s mortal. Damon isn’t invited in. And Stefan told her about Alaric’s ring. He says that it isn’t his problem and he won’t help. Damon tells him that Pearl might know where Isobel is, and goes away. Then Alaric agrees to help them.

Jeremy still wants Anna to turn him. He feels like he doesn’t fit in this world. Anna tells him about the 3 classic categories, when vampires are turning humans into one of them. Jeremy still isn’t at any of them. Then Pearl comes in. Anna quickly goes away from Jeremy. She and Pearl are about to leave when Mayor Lockwood stops to warn them about them about bad weather. When she hears that he’s a Lockwood, she decides to stay in Grill for a moment.

Damon, Alaric and Elena are discussing the plan. Elena still wants to go in to save Stefan. Damon thinks that Alaric should go in just to invite Damon in, Elena disagrees. Then Damon gets realistic. He tells Elena, that he can’t look after her. He can’t be distracted. He doesn’t know how many vampires are in that house and they can rip her head off in less than second. If he would have to look after her, they all would die, Including Stefan. Elena now finally understands it. And Damon understands how hard it’s going to be for her. Alaric thinks that they should get going.

Caroline calls Matt. The main road was washed up so she’s taking an alternative route. Her cell phone is out of range. Matt suggests they go back. She tries to and her car’s tires get stuck in the mud. She can’t get anywhere and she still can’t get her signal.

Alaric pretends to be a guy whose car has broken down. The vampire’s house was the first one he saw. He asks to use their phone. Frederick invites him in. The house is full of vampires. He goes to kitchen, where the phone is. He stakes the vampire who led him into kitchen. He turns the blender on so the others can’t hear him. Alaric asked Ms Gibbons to invite Damon in. She couldn’t do it because she was under compulsion so Damon asked Alaric to get her out. Damon then asked Ms Gibbons, if she had any children, husband or relatives, but she said no, so he killed her in order to gain entry into the house. Damon asked Alaric to get rid of the body and walked into the house.

Elena is waiting at the car. She looks really nervous and wants to help Damon and Alaric. Then she takes vervain out of her handbag. Something then falls on her car and smashes the windshield, but it’s just a tree.

Pearl is talking to Mayor Lockwood about his properties in town. She also talks about the past.

Anna is playing darts. Jeremy is getting up to go to her when she sends him a text to keep his distance because they’re a secret. He replies her that he’s bored. She asks him to suck it up, and he says that he will ...if she turns him.

Pearl asks Mayor Lockwood, who’s that boy (Jeremy). He tells her the truth and she’s truly shocked.

Frederick sends a vampire to check if Billy is ok. As soon as he’s in kitchen Damon kills him.

Alaric runs to the car, but it’s empty. Elena has left it. He takes her handbag and goes leaves.

Elena tries to get closer to the house. She hears some voices from the basement. She goes down there. She breaks the glass of basement door to get inside. She’s lucky that the guard vampire was listening to music and didn’t hear her. The vampire noticed her and was getting closer to her. She is getting her vervain ready, but Damon stakes the vampire before she does. Damon is angry that she’s there.

It’s already dark outside, Caroline is still in her car. She can’t get a signal. The rain has stopped and she gets out of the car to walk around and search for signal. Then she slips and almost falls into a river. She grabs something to pull herself up, and realizes that she have grabbed dead body’s arm.

Anna meets Pearl in the ladies room. She wants Anna to stop seeing Jeremy, because his family is the reason that she had to stay in tomb for over a century. Anna tells Pearl that Jeremy already knows who she is and he is ok with it. Pearl hits Anna.

Jeremy sees Anna and her mother leaving the Grill. She sends him a text that says she will turn him.

Elena and Damon get to Stefan. Elena has to lead him out of the basement while Damon distracts the other vampires. Elena also helps Harbour.

Frederick notices that it was too quiet at the house and asks everyone to search for something.

Elena and Stefan go through the woods. They fall down and Elena cuts her hand. They get up and continue going.

Damon attacks Frederick and they are fighting. The other vampires come to help Frederick, but Alaric comes in right on time and saves Damon. He runs for Frederick.

Elena gets Stefan to the car. She’s about to drive away when Frederick pulls Stefan out of the car. He starts beating him. He stick woods stake in Stefan and is about to kill him when Elena sticks vervain in Fredericks back. Stefan is going unconscious.

Alaric is still at the house and one of the vampires bites him. He and Damon are about to leave when the whole house is surrounded by vampires and Alaric has only one dose vervain left.

Kelly made dinner for Matt. Then Carolina and Sheriff Forbes came to his house and asked for Kelly.

Mayor Lockwood tells Tyler that they have found Vicky's body… Jeremy heard that too.

Frederick is waking up. Stefan is still too weak to move. Elena gives him her blood, he asks her to run, but she trusts him and lets him feed.

Pearl comes home and orders the vampires to calm down. She sees the dead bodies, and Damon explains to her about what Frederick has done.

Stefan is strong now and kills Frederick. Elena goes closer to him and he snarled at her… Stefan realized what had he done.

They both are at Stefan’s room. She realizes that she could have been killed. Stefan is thankful for saving his life. Elena was shocked about Stefan in woods – he was like other person. Then Jeremy calls her to tell about Vicki.

Everyone’s at Matt’s home. Caroline gives coffee to everyone. Everyone is shocked… Caroline wants to talk but Matt says he needs to be alone, But when Elena comes, they’re giving each other “I’m so sorry” hugs… That hurts Caroline.

Damon and Alaric meet at the Grill. Damon threw out another joke (like usually). Then Alaric gets up, punches Damon in face and walks away.

Elena and Jeremy come home. Jeremy just walked up to get some sleep (yeah, right…). He throws out all the articles he found about Vicki. Anna sees that and understands that Jeremy wanted her to turn him just to be with her, with Vicki. All Jeremy can say, is “I’m sorry” but it’s too late, Anna disappears.

Damon walks in on Stefan. He finds empty blood bags and Stefan with human blood on his mouth…

Such an intriguing end! Let’s wait the next episode together!

The Vampire Diaries Episode 16 Synopsis
"There Goes The Neighborhood"

The episode starts with a view of the house in the woods, where many vampires are accumulating and feeding. The house owner feeds those vampires. Anna isn't happy at all about that.
It's morning. Matt calls his mom, who's been partying at home all night. He offers to help her find a job and settle down. Matt offers her a bar tending job. She promises to check it out. Caroline came in and was really polite (as always) but Ms Donavan was rude and just walked away (as always).
Damon doesn't talk to Stefan. Every time as he tries to talk to him, Damon just shuts down. Elena doesn’t want to think about vampire mothers or brothers. She just wants to live one day with a spark, like Stefan. They just want to have some fun.
Matt invites Caroline to watch some movies at his place. She is pretty skeptic about it, because there is going to be his mother and her rudeness, too. Matt thinks that she doesn't help the situation at all when she thinks like that.
Pearl shows Harbour the new techniques, like, cell phones. She opens a voice mail from Jeremy. When Harbour asked, is Jeremy her boyfriend, Anna’s mother quickly answered – of course not.. Pearl starts dressing up like new people, looks very respectable. They had to leave, to do some business in town. The vampires have to cooperate to do their plan, so she leaves Harbour in charge.
Caroline offers Elena and Stefan a double date - dinner at the Grill, maybe a movie. She thinks it's a good idea. They had some awkwardness before between her, Elena and Matt, and she just wants to get over it. Looks like Elena didn't want it, but Stefan agreed and thought that it will be a good thing. So date it was!
Damon walks into the Boarding house and sees Pearl inside. She and Anna are surprised, that there are no living people in that house - just Stefan and Damon. Pearl is hoping to have a word with Damon.
Jeremy searches and asks in a chat room for answers about vampires, like "How do you become a vampire?" and "How do you kill a vampire?" but no one is taking him seriously. When he asked for serious answers, somebody wrote about a stake in vampire’s heart. That person is probably a believer, he finds out.
Pearl tells Damon about their home - for now. There aren’t all 25 vampires, just some. She thinks that few already left the town, but others are still in the woods, or like them - acclimatizing. When Pearl says about the Founders Council, Damon denies that he's a part of it. Pearl needs to know everything, what they know - names, facts, how many of them have vervain from Damon. That would have to stop immediately. When Damon asks what they are trying to achieve, Pearl reveals that the vampires wants Mystic Falls back. That is their home, which people have taken away from them. Damon is against that thought (it’s the 21st century, for god sake...). Then she offers him help to find Katherine. They were best friends for a long time before they came to Mystic Falls and she knows her thoughts and plans. She knows where to find her. Damon claims that he has no more desire to see Katherine anymore, so he won’t help them with their plan. But Pearl wasn’t asking him for help. She was giving him a command. Then she pushed her thumbs in to Damon’s eye balls (ouch!). She threatens Damon, that she will kill him any time, if he doesn't help her.
Stefan comes to Elena with beautiful flowers. Elena starts thinking about canceling the date, but Stefan encourages her and cheers her up. When he decided to stay in Mystic Falls to know Elena better, he thought about normal things - like, giving her flowers, taking her out on a date. He likes things like that, and (as I can see :o)) it makes Elena feel better.
Anna and Pearl meets Jenna in town. She showed them a little drink shop. Anna saw Jeremy, but didn't get a chance to meet him - because of her mother.
At the Grill Damon meets Matt's mother. They start talking about different things. Kelly didn't get a bar tending job. Then Jenna comes in. Matt's mother just to babysit Jenna and then they start to party together. Ms Donavon asks her to sit down and drink together, she agrees. Then all three of them get drunk together (funny view :D ).
At the vampires house things aren't so calm. One of the vampires, Frederick, isn't satisfied about sitting trapped inside the house. He challenges Harbour. Then Pearl comes and calms things down. Fighting each other is against the rules, and they can’t go out in the city, because it's dangerous that the Salvatore’s know about them. Frederick wants revenge on them, because it's their fault that they were trapped inside the tomb.
At the double date things are pretty cool - talks are going but it gets pretty awkward when they notice that Damon, Kelly and Jenna are drinking together.
Some vampires, not following Pearls rules, leave the house to go to the town. Harbour can't stop them.
Anna comes to Jeremy.  He is pretty shocked, but excited. When she comes in, Jeremy shows his emotions... He looks a bit scared.
Jenna and Kelly are trying to cheer up Damon. They drink, and drink, and drink... Elena, Caroline, Matt and Stefan still watched them and play billiards. Elena and Matt talk about their childhood memories, but Caroline and Stefan feel pretty uncomfortable.
Anna is thinking about getting "back" in to high school, Pearl is going to open a small shop in the town. But first, Anna has to talk with her mother about that school thing. When Jeremy starts talking about his searches about vampires in Mystic Falls, she gets serious. Jeremy wants to get deeper in that entire vampire thing. He believes, that maybe there are vampires, but different as he thought before. He thinks, they might be good and kind, just outsiders. Anna claims that she doesn't believe in them. She got all that info just to make a good impression on Jeremy.
At the date are some complications between Elena and Caroline. Caroline thinks that Elena is trying to flirt with Matt, not to show her feelings to Stefan. Elena says that she was trying to make conversation. When Elena ran for Caroline, Frederick caught her hand and called her Katherine (that was a bit of a shock for me!). Then he understood that she isn't Katherine. Frederik noticed Stefan. Elena texted to Stefan about that accident. When he looked around, Frederick was already gone.
Elena, of course, didn't recognize Frederick. All she wanted was one night without stress and vampire things. She offers to deal with that tomorrow.
Matt and Caroline arrive at the boarding house, too. They are going to watch some movie. Caroline has a feeling that she had been there before. Matt notices Stefan’s car collection. Matt likes cars, too. Stefan calls him to go somewhere.
When Damon and Kelly start almost kissing at the bar, Jenna decides to leave.
Stefan leads Matt to garage, where he keeps a rare and old car. He says that it has been passed through the family, but it doesn't run. Then Matt got into memories again, and Caroline runs off again. Elena followed her. Stefan understands Matt’s and Elena’s relationship, because they have a history to share. Matt admits that he’s happy that Elena is happy with Stefan. Then they start to try to make the car work.
Jenna walked out of the bar and broke her heel of the shoe. Frederick sees that and offers her some help. He asked her about Damon - was it him back at the bar. He starts to flirt with Jenna and tries to compel her. It didn't work and she starts to laugh. He knows that she wears vervain. Then she left.
Elena tries to talk with Caroline. She's really hurt; she thinks that she's a backup for everyone and that Elena doesn't even care about that, because she's everyone’s first choice.  Stefan and Matt fixed the car. Stefan offered Matt and Caroline to take a ride. They accept it (but Caroline still looks sad...). Matt and Stefan really look like good friends now, and Elena notices that, too. Now she's concerned not about vampires, but about girlfriends...
Anna and Jeremy are making dinner together. Then Jeremy specially cut his hand and asked Anna for help. She couldn't. He goes closer to her, like challenging her. She tries to be as far from him as possible. She couldn't take it and pushed him against the fridge. Her eyes changed. Then Jeremy admitted, that he knew it and made her go for it - she drunk the blood out of his palm. Then Jenna came home. He hid his palm and smiled - like everything was normal. When he returned at the kitchen, Anna was gone.
Matt and Caroline stopped for a talk. Matt understood that all that double date was for Caroline to see what’s going on between him and Elena. He made her understand, that that was just two old friends and memories. He was there just because he wanted to be there with Caroline.  He made her understand, that he loves only her (sweet!).
Then Damon got to the house with Kelly. Then they kissed, and were going to make love when Matt and Caroline came into the room. Kelly left. Matt left too, Elena promised to take Caroline home.
Anna came home. Pearl needed to know where she had been.
Elena had just got home, when Frederick got into the house to attack Stefan. He stuck wooden stakes in him. Damon threw Frederick away. Then his girlfriend came and attacked Stefan, but he killed her pretty fast. When Federick saw that, he ran off.
Matt drove Kelly home. He was angry and hurt. She ruined all his good time with his friends and acting like some kind of kid.
Frederick told Pearl about his girlfriend and that she’s dead. Then she almost killed him to scare him, so he would listen to her next time.
Elena called Stefan to tell him that she's fine. Stefan lied to her by saying that nothing had happened - to make her day as normal as possible. They both had a really nice time at their date.
When Jeremy walked into his room, Anna was in front of him. She said that she would and should have killed him. Jeremy explained her how he suspected about vampires, about Vicki being bitten on the neck, the articles, Anna’s changing face.. When Anna asked why he risked it, he said that he wanted to know if it's true about Vicki and also because he wanted Anna to turn him.

Really interesting end, but what's going to be next – we’ll see on next episode! :)

This episode starts off with Elena waking up in Anna’s apartment. Right at the foot of the bed she is laying on Ben is there sleeping in a chair. Elena tries to quietly get off the bed, so she can get out of the apartment. She makes it to the door and unlocks the latch, but when she goes to unlock the dead bolt Ben is there. Ben tries to compel Elena not knowing that she’s wearing virvain. So when he tells her not to move she says I understand and when he walks away she makes a break for it. But Anna is there and stops her. Ben tells Anna that he tried the ‘eye thing’ but Anna tells him he forgot the lesson about virvain. They throw her into the bathroom, where she sees Bonnie in the bathtub.

            Stefan is at his house. He finds Damon looking through the Grimoire and tells him Anna took Elena. Damon says he knew by the 600 messages Stefan left him. I think Damon is exaggerating just a little bit. Stefan is afraid that Damon’s blood hasn’t left Elena’s system yet. Damon than says ‘Well at least you know you’ll see her again.’  Stefan asks Damon if he can tell him where Anna lives. Just tell him anything he knows. Damon of course being Damon says no. Then Stefan apologizes to Damon for everything. For getting Katherine taken away, saying it was his fault everything happened. Damon than says ‘Apology accepted. But is he serious? Stefan takes it as a good thing and asks Damon again for help. Damon gets up and tells Stefan right in his face. He Hopes Elena dies. Really Damon?

            Elena wets a washcloth to put on Bonnie’s head. She wakes up. Bonnie starts to talk to Elena but Elena Ssh’s her and Signs to her that they can hear. Elena turns on the faucet so they can’t hear as much. Bonnie is confused as to why they are there and why she didn’t know about the spell book. Elena tells her she was hoping it didn’t have to come to this because they need a witch to open the tomb. Bonnie says ‘No way’ but then Ben comes into the bathroom. Bonnie tells him that she’s not going to help him and he says that’s why Elena’s there. Motivation for her to behave. Ben than takes Elena out. Anna wants to talk to her. Anna tells Elena that she really does look like Katherine and must have the Salvatore brothers reeling. Not really because one is dead set on getting Katherine back. When Elena asks who she is, Anna says that Elena’s brother may have mentioned her because they’re practically dating.

            Damon shows up at Bonnie’s grandmother’s house. He asks her grandmother for Bonnie and she says ‘she’s not here.’ And in the middle of Damon asking when’s she going to be back, her grandmother says never. She tells Damon that he is no friend to them. Bonnie has told her everything. She tells Damon to get off her porch and Damon challenges her by telling her to come outside and say it to him. When she starts to walk out Damon cringes and has this horrible pain on his face like he has a severe headache. She than says that she is not Bonnie and he shouldn’t mess with her. She walks back into her house and closes her door. When the door is close it looks as if she was scared. Or it took a lot of energy for her to do that.

            Elena is telling Anna that Bonnie is not going to open up the tomb. Anna tells her that she thinks she will and Elena asks her if she really wants Katherine that badly. Anna tells her it’s her mother she wants. That when Katherine got herself caught, so did her mom. Elena’s says that she’s sorry and Anna actually believes her. Anna quickly changes the mood by calling Stefan to come to an agreement. She tells him that one of them better be her in the town square so they can discuss working together. FUN!

            Anna tells Ben, who was in the bathroom with Bonnie, that she’s leaving. He comes out and sits her down by Elena. Anna tells her that compulsion won’t work. When Anna leaves Ben starts to ask questions but Elena asks for some water. When he tells her that there’s some on the night stand Elena goes to drink it but Bonnie asks for a sip first. Now it gets fun. When Bonnie takes the glass she throws it on Ben. But this is only water right? , so what’s it going to do to vampire? Well Bonnie sets the water on fire with her mind and then Ben’s are is up in flames. They make a break for it but only Bonnie makes it out and Ben grabs Elena. He tells Bonnie to get back in and Bonnie being the best friend she is, she goes back in.

            While Anna is waiting for Damon or Stefan to show up she runs into Jeremy. He asks her what happened to her last night and she says she told Elena tot ell him she had to go. Well I don’t think Elena was able to deliver that message. Jeremy invites Anna to a party that’s going on that night by the old cemetery. Being it’s the place where the vampires are she agrees to go. Then she walks away and sits down on a bench than Damon shows up. Anna tells him that they have to work together because he’s minus a witch and she’s minus a spell book. Damon tells Anna that Stefan will come after her for messing with Elena and Anna says then he won’t be to happy when she kills her if she doesn’t get what she wants. She starts to walk away but Damon, having a soft spot somewhere asks her where she wants to do this. She says tonight after sun down.

            Back at the apartment Ben is still watching Elena and Bonnie when Stefan breaks down the doors to get them. It’s sun outside and Ben doesn’t have a ring so he hides on the floor next to a bed. Stefan tells him when it gets dark to leave or he will kill him. Go Stefan!

            They go back to Bonnie’s grandmas house, who helped Stefan find them. Elena tells them that they need to let Damon have Katherine back. That he’s not going to stop until he gets her. Bonnie says Damon shouldn’t get what he wants and Elena say what other choice do they have. Bonnie’s grandma agrees to open the tomb but Stefan has to burn the rest with fire. Stefan says that they still have to get Damon to agree. Elena says that he will because he did before, Stefan than contradicts it by saying they double-crossed him and now he’s angry. Elena says he’s hurt, there’s a difference. I’m starting to see something for Damon in Elena. Elena says she knows what she ahs to do.

            When Anna gets back to the apartment she sees that they are gone. Ben tells her it was Stefan that there was nothing he could do. Anna starts to talk to herself saying that Damon won’t stop. That he will find a way to open the tomb, and that she’s going to be there when he does.

            Elena shows up at Stefan’s house with only Damon there. She tells him that she got Bonnie to agree to help him. She says she’s not sorry for getting the Grimoire before him because she ‘s not. Elena goes onto say that he didn’t use him compulsion on her in Atlanta because they have something. An understanding. I really hope Elena’s not starting to get like Katherine. Elena tells him that she promises to help him get Katherine back. He says he wishes he can believe her. Elena than takes her necklace off so he can see if she is lying now. Damon walks up to her and puts her necklace back on. He tells her that he didn’t compel her because they were having fun and he wanted it to be real in Atlanta.

            Stefan, Bonnie and her grandmother are getting ready when Damon and Elena come back. They go down into the tomb and light candles for the ritual. Stefan sees Damon holding a bag of blood and Damon says it’s for Katherine and that Stefan can’t wait to get rid off him.

Bonnie and her grandmother start to say the ritual and after a while the tomb door opens the way to the vampires. Stefan tells Elena that he will be right back he’s going to go get the fire. Damon asks Elena if she’s ready because he’s taking her in there with him. He doesn’t trust them enough to go in by himself. Elena agrees to it saying he just wants leverage so he knows they won’t shut the door. So she goes. Really Elena?

            While Stefan is getting the fire Ben shows up. Stefan says he thought he told him to leave and Ben said he thought of it but then said screw you. Really not smart, this kid. Anna than appears saying she’s going to go get her mother and that Ben is about to make a main course out of Jeremy so he can either stop her or Ben. Than Anna disappears and Stefan is left with Jeremy.

            Damon and Elena are walking in the tomb when all of sudden they start to hear voices. Damon says that they can sense Elena.  Damon starts to get further into the tomb leaving Elena alone.

            Anna shows up in the tomb and Bonnie blocks her way saying she isn’t going in there. Her grandmother tells Bonnie to let her go. Bonnie asks her why she let her go in and she says because none of them are coming back out. What?!

Ben and Stefan are still above the tomb and Ben says that he’s heard of Stefan. That he doesn’t feed off humans. He thinks that Stefan isn’t strong enough to beat him. When goes to attack Stefan does a nice clothesline and Ben falls. Ben asks if that’s all he’s got and Stefan says no. He than lights Ben on fire with the fire he was going to use for the vampires.

            Elena is still by herself walking around in the tomb when she starts to notice the other vampires. As she walks around she trips and falls. She points the light onto one of the vampires and than its eyes open. She gets up and starts flashing around the flashlight and sees Anna.

            When Stefan comes back down he asks them where Elena is and they tell him what he did. He’s about to go into the tomb when Bonnie’s grandmother stops him. She tells him that if he goes in he won’t come out because the spell only opened the door. It didn’t remove the seal. The seal is that no vampire gets out. Stefan than says that Elena’s human, that she can leave but Damon and Katherine can’t. She says Elena can get out, that’s all that matters.

            As Anna is taunting Elena she sees her mother. She tells Elena that she made a promise a long time ago that it would be Gilbert blood that brought her back to life. She than takes Elena’s wrists and bites her. Elena screams and Stefan hears it. Not caring about the seal, Stefan runs in to save her.  Anna puts Elena’s wrist up to her mothers’ mouth.

            Bonnie doesn’t want him to get stuck in the tomb so she asks her grandmother to show her how to take down the seal. She asks her to help her or she will do it alone.

            Stefan reaches up to Elena and rips Anna off of her. He tells Elena to go and she starts to run out. Anna’s mother woke up. Anna goes up to her mom and holds hers.

            When Elena gets out of the tomb, she tells Bonnie that Stefan’s right behind her. When Elena turns around she sees Stefan standing in the doorway. She asks what he’s doing and Bonnie says it’s going to be okay. Bonnie tells Elena that the spell is still up and Elena ask Stefan if he went in there not knowing he could come out. Stefan says he heard her scream. She tells Stefan that they can’t leave Damon in there, that both of them promised him. Bonnie’s grandmother tells them that if they break the seal they won’t be able to hold it for long. Than Stefan goes to get Damon.

            When Stefan reaches up to Damon he sees him in the room saying she’s not here. Stefan is confused and Damon yells ‘She’s not here’ and throws the bag of blood on the wall. Bad move Damon, bad, bad, bad move.

            Bonnie and her grandmother are starting the ritual to break the seal and Elena says she thinks it’s working. Anna and her mother walk out and Anna says she just wanted her mother. She tells her that Jeremy is fine and that they won’t touch him. Bonnie and her grandmother are trying to hold it but they can’t because they are not very powerful for that spell. Elena yells to Stefan that they can’t hold it. Than she runs in.

            Stefan tells Damon that they have to go that it’s not worth spending eternity down there. Damon starts to get upset but Elena appears and begs Damon to go.

Bonnie is trying to hold it together but it’s to hard for her to keep going longer. Before they eventually stop they are all out. YAY! Elena and Stefan hug as a beautiful reunion.

            Stefan and Elena run over to Jeremy who is just starting to wake up from unconsciousness. When Elena sees Damon she runs over to him and gives him a hug says I’m sorry. Aw, she is really sweet. But Stefan in looking at them and he looks a little hurt.

            Bonnie and her grandmother get back to the house where Bonnie is worried about Grams. Grams says she doesn’t have to worry about her and tells her she will be fine. 

            Elena and Jeremy are at their house. Jeremy is apologizing for what him passing out looks like. He says he didn’t even drink that much. Elena tells him he didn’t do anything and asks him if he needs anything before she goes to Bonnie’s. He says no that he’s just going to crash. When Elena leaves he goes to his computer and Bing’s vampires.

            When Anna gets back to her apartment with her mother she finds Damon sitting in one of her chairs. He accuses Anna of knowing that Katherine wasn’t in there. She says he wouldn’t have helped if she told him. He than starts to choke her mother asking her why she gets a happy ending.

  Her mother than says some surprising details. She says that the guard at the church let Katherine go because she had him under her spell like everyone else and she promised to turn him. Damon than lets her go. Anna says the last time she saw Katherine was Chicago 1983. She also says that Katherine knew where Damon was. That she didn’t care. She apologizes and than Damon leaves with this heart-breaking look on his face. I wanted to hug him so badly. It was so sad.

            Elena is at Bonnie’s talking to Stefan on the phone. She asks him if Damon will be all right and he says, he doesn’t know and if he can call later. She says okay. Than Stefan goes to sit next to Damon by the fire and it’s just quiet. Bonnie made her grandmother some tea and brings it to her. She is sleeping on the bed and Bonnie goes to wake her up. When she doesn’t wake up Bonnie realizes that she isn’t breathing and screams for Elena. Elena walks in to find Bonnie crying and looking through a spell book to see if she can bring her back. Elena calls and ambulance and than goes to Bonnie who is now screaming and crying. Elena is holding Bonnie while she cries.

            Back at the tomb. Remember when Damon through the blood. Well some vampire got a hold of the bag. Yeah I told you it was a bad idea. Than the vampire gets up opens the tomb door and walks right out. Um I thought there was a seal?.

Pay attention closely all you Vampire Diaries fans, because this bad boy can jump to the past any minute. This week’s episode kept going back in time so we understood everything.

Past: 1864

 Katherine is lying over a body in the road. But who’s exactly? When she sees a carriage coming her way she gets up and yells to them screaming Help! When they come to a stop, Katherine runs over to the driver and says the he has to help the man. So we know the body is a man but who? So while the driver runs over to the body another guys steps out of the carriage to see if she’s okay. She than attacks him. Yeah I didn’t see that coming Katherine.  Than she attacks the driver. And when she’s done the body gets up. It’s Damon! She was showing him how to hunt? I’d be a little grossed out. Then he kisses her while her lips are all bloody. Wow.

Present:

Ms. Elena Gilbert wakes up in Mr. Stefan Salvatore’s bed. Well, well, well. They were starting to get cuddly when Mr. Damon Salvatore shows up at the foot of his bed. Stefan tries to help cover Elena up but Damon says if he sees something he hasn’t he’ll throw a dollar at it (which is extremely funny if I might add.), but does that mean he’s seen Elena naked?! Huh, any who Damon starts going off on what they are going to do to try and get the tomb open since they are what Damon calls ‘a threesome’. Elena is supposed to go find her ancestors journal. The one that Jeremy gave to Alaric. Damon then leaves and Stefan and Elena start to kiss.

Past:

Damon and Katherine are rolling around in the bed playing around.... and kissing. Emily walks in telling Katherine that Pearl is there to see her. (Pearl is Anna's  mom by the way.) Pearl and Katherine go on a walk, they start to talk about an Elixir that Honoria Fell asked Pearl to sell. Pearl told Katherine to try it and she did. The Elixir started to make her skin burn. It’s a liquid mixed with virvain. When Katherine asked why there was virvain she answered her own question by saying they know about the vampires. Pearl and Katherine are vampires. Pearl wants to leave but Katherine isn’t ready. Then Pearl’s daughter walks over and it’s Anna.

Present:

Anna is trying to get in touch with Jeremy so she can get her hands on the journal. She is getting really annoying. Her and Ben are living it what looks like an apartment. Hey, guess what, Ben’s a new vampire.  So what exactly is his part in all this? Well Anna felt that he fit the bill to be her eyes and ears because he was sad and lacked purpose. Those are her exact words. Pretty harsh Anna.

Elena is back at her house and is looking through her old ancestor stuff trying to look for the journal with Stefan. Stefan and her are having a conversation on whether or not Damon believes them. Hmm. Elena is also worried about what will happen if Damon does get the tomb open. Hey I would be too. Before Jeremy interrupts them Elena opens up a box to find a mask torture looking thing but closes it quickly when he walks in. When Jeremy asks what she’s doing she tells him that she is feeling all-sentimental and is looking for an old journal. Jeremy tells her that he gave it to Alaric.

Alaric is at his desk in school and is reading the journal.

Past:  Mr.Gilbert, Mr. Lockwood, and Mr. Salvatore are all in a room and Mr. Gilbert is showing them the vampire compass he made. Stefan walks into the room and leaves again not knowing he interrupted them. Mr.Gilbert asks Mr. Salvatore if he has told Stefan and Damon about the vampires. (Like they don’t know already. Pshh.) Mr. Salvatore says he hasn’t but he will and that he can count on his boys to help them with the vampires.

Present:

Alaric is now copying the diary from a copying machine. He puts the pages away in his teacher locker and closes it. What Alaric doesn’t see is that Anna has now entered the school. Uh-oh. When Alaric sees a shadow walk past his door he get’s all buffy the vampire slayer. Not even kidding. He runs to his locker and pulls out a gun type machine that shoots out stakes. Um wow Alaric. But again what he doesn’t see is vampire going into his room, where he left the journal. When he walks back into his room he automatically shoots a stake and bam! Stefan catches it. Alaric tries to leave but Stefan grabs him and throws him back. Stefan calms him by saying he isn’t going to hurt him. Stefan starts to interrogate him and asking him questions about whom he is. He tells Stefan the he’s a historian who found some interesting things about his town. And Stefan says, “So you show up like Van Helsing ?” I think that is hilarious. And Stefan says to tell him the truth. He says that his wife’s work is what led him there but that a vampire killed her. Stefan asks for the journal and Alaric tells him it’s on his desk and Stefan says no it’s not and Alaric then says well it was.

Anna is back in the apartment reading…the Gilbert Journal.

Past:

Katherine and Pearl are in Pearl’s store talking about leaving. Katherine says that she has to take care of a few things and then Pearl realizes that Katherine is going to turn them both. And then Mr.Gilbert comes to have a moment with Pearl. I’m guessing they have a thing.

Stefan, Damon and their father are walking together and Mr. Salvatore tells them that there are vampires amongst them. (Like they didn’t know) Their father said that they were going o help get rid of them. I guess that’s not good for Katherine.

Present:

Damon is in Elena’s kitchen with Jenna making…dinner? Really Damon? They’re talking about relationships. Really awkward. If you ask me Aunt Jenna looks like a cougar right about now. Elena now walks in to be shocked to see Damon.

Stefan is still in Alaric’s classroom asking him questions. Alaric tells him that he only found out recently that Stefan was a vampire, also that he knows Damon killed his wife. Alaric really wants to find out what happen to his wife. He says that he saw Damon draining the blood out of her but that he must have heard him coming because he vanished and so did his wife. Stefan tells him that Damon can never know of his reason for being here. Stefan offers his help to Alaric.

Damon is still at Elena’s house cooking dinner. Damon starts to ask her if he can really trust Stefan and of course Elena says he can. Damon honestly looks like he wants to trust Stefan so badly but isn’t sure.

Past:

Katherine is playing a game with Mr. Salvatore. It’s kind of funny that he’s playing with the enemy. Stefan starts to say that maybe their father could possibly accept Katherine if they told him the truth. Damon suddenly goes protective having Stefan promise that he wouldn’t tell him.

Present:

Jeremy and Damon are playing a video game and then Jeremy’s phone goes off. He obviously presses ignore and Damon asks who’s he ignoring and tells him this girl Anna. Damon then over hears Jenna saying to Elena that he was hot and Elena tells her to shh, then saying that he’s an ass. The doorbell rings and Elena goes to get it but so does Damon and Stefan looks a little peeved that he’s there.

Stefan told them that the book was taken and they’re trying to figure out whom. Damon then goes and asks Jeremy who else was interested in the book. He tells them that Anna also wanted it. Jeremy tells Damon that she wants him to meet her at the grill tonight and Damon goes with him to see who she is. Bonnie is on a date with Ben and calls Elena to tell her how it’s going. Elena walks up the stairs and Bonnie tells her she will text her later with more details. Stefan goes up the stairs a few moments later telling her that Damon left with Jeremy. She’s worried that he will get the book but Stefan pulls out the copy Alaric copied saying it was okay that they didn’t need it. (Now, remember that Stefan really doesn’t want Damon to open up the tomb.) When Anna walks into the bar and Damon sees her he now knows who she is. Elena and Stefan are going through the journal to figure out where Emily’s spell book was. They start to read a passage that tells them where it is.

Past:

Stefan walks in on his father and his father tells him don’t worry about it that the real secrets he will carry to his grave. Stefan starts to talk to his father about their plan to kill the vampires. Saying that they should be sure they know everything about them. Mr. Salvatore gives Stefan a drink telling him not to worry about it, that they are demons from hell.

Present:

Stefan realizes where the journal is. Anna walks into her apartment and gets attacked by Damon. She’s choking Damon and he’s choking her. After a while Damon gives in. I think Damon’s going soft. Stefan and Elena are at Stefan’s father grave site. Emily’s spell book is buried with his father. They start to dig it up.

Past:

Stefan and Katherine are together and Katherine tells him that she’s spoiled and selfish. She goes to bite him but stops and falls on to the floor. Looks like the drink his father gave him was full of virvain. Stefan’s father walks in and tells him to get the sheriff. Stefan asks his father how he knew and his father says that his compassion for the vampires gave it away and he gave him the virvain to expose Katherine. When the sheriff comes they put what looks like the same mask Elena found while looking through her ancestors stuff onto Katherine’s face. They take her outside and stick her into a metal carriage. When Pearl sees this happening she runs over to Mr. Gilbert asking him what happened and he says that they caught a vampire. What she doesn’t see is that he has the vampire compass in his hand. While she is standing right in front of him the compass points towards her. He tells the others and she tries to run away but they shoot her in the back. Anna and Emily are nearby watching all of it. Emily is soothing Anna telling her that she will protect them. Is it possible that Anna’s mom is in the tomb too? Maybe that’s why she wants it opened so badly. Meanwhile Stefan and Damon are outside and Damon is begging his father to let her go. Damon is now furious with Stefan because he talked to his father about the vampires when he promised he wouldn’t.

Present:

Damon asks Anna where the journal is and she gives it too him saying that she couldn’t find anything. When Damon starts to read it he knows exactly where the journal is. He tells Anna that he works alone and leaves with the journal. Uh-oh!

Bonnie and Ben are getting ready to leave their date but Bonnie decides to go all bold and kiss him. Big mistake Bonnie. As soon as their lips touch she knows that he’s a vampire. Ben asks her what’s wrong and she’s says nothing that it was just too fast. When he asks her what she wants to do now she tells him that they should stay at the grill and have some more coffee. So they take their jackets back off and sit down. Bonnie gets up and says she has to go to the bathroom. I honestly believed Bonnie; it looked as if she didn’t have a problem with him being a vampire. But she does and while she’s pretending to go to the bathroom she tries to run out the back door, where Ben is waiting for her and kidnaps her.

Stefan and Elena are still trying to dig up the Grimwar . When Stefan finally gets the coffin open he sees his father holding the book. He takes it out and gets out of the ground. He’s getting ready to open it up when Damon shows up. He looks pissed-off right about now.

Stefan tells Damon that he couldn’t let him open up the tomb. Damon then takes Elena and tells Stefan that if he doesn’t give him the book he is going to kill Elena. Stefan says that he won’t do it. Damon then bites his hand and sticks it to Elena’s mouth. He says that he will break her neck and then that both of them will have a vampire girlfriend. Now Stefan says that doing that he would give Damon that journal. That’s the last thing he wants to happen to Elena. So Stefan puts down the book and Damon releases Elena. To me it sort of look liked he didn’t want to let her go. Elena runs to Stefan.

Stefan takes Elena back home and she’s in her bathroom trying to rinse out her mouth. Stefan tells her that Damon’s blood will be out of her system by tomorrow.  She keeps saying she has a headache and Stefan tells her to go lay down and he will go get her some Advil. When he goes downstairs he sees Aunt Jenna. She tells him that he better know that he’s not sleeping over. He smiles and says that they’re just going to hang out. He then asks her if they have any Advil. She’s goes to get him some; Jeremy walks into the kitchen and says ‘Where is she?’ Aunt Jenna says the bathroom and Stefan asks whom. Aunt Jenna then says that Jeremy brought his friend Anna over. Stefan realizes who Anna is and rushes up stairs to find Elena gone.

Now that Ms.Elena Gilbert is being stalked by a crazy psycho vampire, Stefan wants to do everything he can to protect her. He gave Elena A LOT of vervain. He told her to give it to friends and family to protect them. In this episode we see Elena give a fancy necklace, with possibly some vervain to Caroline. No more Damon I guess. Sorry buddy. He also gives Elena back her family watch. Which is now turned into a vampire compass. This way she will know when ever there is another vampire around. The only problem? Her boyfriend IS a vampire.

            Well it seems like I won’t be ordering pizza anymore seeing as anybody can show up. A night alone Jeremy and Elena decide to buy pizza. The pizza boy comes and when Jeremy goes to pay him he realizes he doesn’t have the money. He then asks pizza boy to COME IN, while Elena brought down the money. When the pizza boy leaves you can realize whom he is. The crazy stalker vampire. OH! He has a name. Noah.

            While Bonnie and Elena are hanging out at the grill, Bonnie notices a hot guy. The bartender named Ben who used to be a student at Mystic Falls. Elena says she has to go and while she’s leaving out to her car she gets a phone call. Guess who? Yep! Crazy stalker vampire is calling Elena and he is right across the street. Elena spots him and rushes to get into her car. Do you want to know what he said? “You won’t get away from me next time” Uh, yeah I would be peeing my pants. But back in the bar Bonnie gets into a little confrontation, with Damon. Then guess who comes over! Ben, Bonnie’s eye candy. He asks if there was anything going on and Damon gives up with out a fight. I think Damon is going a little soft.

            Meanwhile, Jeremy got an A on his report! Good for you J! Mr. Saltzman goes all under cover when asking Jeremy is he really believes in vampires. Jeremy then says No but he loves the stories. Mr. Saltzman then asks Jeremy if he can borrow his journal. Hm. Could this have anything to do with the fact he knows Damon killed his wife? Possibly. So he gives it to him.

            Oh! Did I mention Matt got a job as a bus boy? Yep. At the Grill. So Stefan wants Damon out of Mystic Falls so he tells Damon that he will help him do anything just for him to leave. Even to get Katherine out of the tomb. Gasp! Really Stefan? Damon isn’t sure though, he has trust issues. So Stefan leaves to go to Elena’s house leaving him alone to think. At Elena’s, before Aunt Jenna leaves she finally confronts her about her adoption, this is the story: Her mother name was Isabella. She was only sixteen when she saw Elena’s adoptive father leaving his office. Please note he is a doctor. He noticed that she was about to give birth. Elena’s adoptive parents gave Isabella a place to stay for a while. Then she just up and left Elena. Never to be seen again. Elena’s adoptive parents had been trying to give birth to a child for a long time and it wasn’t happening. So her father being a doctor forged the birth certificate and put them down as her real birth parents. They didn’t want to lose Elena. Elena was a little shocked by the news but was satisfied with the truth. Aunt Jenna then leaves to chaperon the school dance.

Elena is still at the house getting ready for the school dance. And then…she hears the compass go off. She tries to call Stefan to only get Damon. Apparently Stefan left his phone there and told Elena that Stefan was on his way to her house. She is then relieved; thinking the vampire the compass caught was Stefan. See, this is the problem. It wasn’t Stefan. Just as she hangs up the phone and dropping down from the ceiling, which was pretty impressive, is Noah, the crazy stalker vampire. He almost gets his teeth into her before her love comes to the rescue this time and pry’s him off of her. Then Noah leaves before Stefan can get his hands on him. Stefan calls Damon to help. What?! Yeah. They talk about how they figured out Noah got in. Dressing up as the pizza boy. Damon decides to go after the vampire that very night. Elena agrees to it but Stefan doesn’t seem to keyed up about it. Did Stefan seem a little tense or was it just I? They show up to the school dance together and Caroline asks if it was a threesome now. Ha classy Caroline. 

            On the other hand Jenna and Alaric seem to be hitting off pretty well. He tells her a little bit more about his wife and how he hopes to find the murder soon. So Damon is suppose to have an irresistible charm right? Well I’m guessing it has worn off. Wait, I know it has worn off. He asks Bonnie to dance and what dance and what does she say? NO! The he decides to give it another shot. He asks Elena if she would like to dance and she said…she would! But then she turns to Stefan and asks him for this dance. Harsh. Well maybe Damon should think about being nicer to people. He did seem a little hurt by it though.

            Jeremy has this friend who has been pretty stuck on him for a while. Her name is Anna. Sounds like an innocent name right? Well not so much. See Anna shows up at the school dance, a school she does not attend, starts to ask Jeremy about his ancestor’s journal. He tells her that he gave to Alaric to borrow. She then gets all upset and tells him that he shouldn’t just be giving out to anyone. He says so what it’s a stupid book. That’s when she gets all vampire. Her eyes go red and veiny . She shakes it off before Jeremy really notices and says that it’s just something in her eye.

            She leaves the dance and goes out in the hall to meet…Noah? Yeah, well apparently their working together. They both want to get into the tomb, but Noah wants Elena because she looks like Katherine. Apparently Katherine got around.

            Well Bonnie and Caroline left the dance, all thanks to Damon. They go to the grill where Bonnie sees Ben again.  She tells Caroline that she has a crush on him and Caroline says that he’s just a ‘washed up jock’ while saying it Matt, who is a jock and needed a job, was standing right behind her. She doesn’t notice though. And when they go sit down she notices thought that Matt is ignoring her and she doesn’t know why. Bonnie gives some good advice and tells her that if she wants something done to go do it. Don’t wait around. Great pep talk Bonnie. She then takes her own advice and goes up to the bar and asks Ben out. He says yes!

            Back over at the dance, Stefan and Elena are dancing to see if they can spot the other vampire. Which was really cute! Damon is standing out in the wings looking too, then Alaric walks up to him and tries to make small talk. Asking him very personal questions. Way to act oblivious Alaric. Alaric then walks away seeming not have gotten anything out of him. On the dance floor, Elena spots someone in a black hooded sweatshirt. The same exact what Noah was wearing. She tells Stefan and then the hooded sweatshirt guy walks out with Stefan following him. When he gets to him he realizes that it’s not him. It was a set up! Smart vampire. While Stefan is out there Noah calls Elena on her cell phone. He tells her that if she doesn’t leave put the door he tells her too that he would kill Jeremy. She does it and leaves the dance. Running the halls of the school trying to get out.

            He finally catches up to her and tosses her around. Elena tries to defend herself with pencils which is pretty smart if I do say so myself. She then breaks a mop stick and tries to stake him. He grabs her arm before she does and goes to bite her but than Stefan and Damon show up. So he doesn’t get too. They ask him what he wants with Elena and he says she looks like Katherine. He says that they weren’t her only guys. Then Damon asks him how to get in the tomb and he says he doesn’t know. Stefan then stakes him, missing the heart so he can still talk. They ask him again and he says that you need Emily’s Grimwa, and that they could find it in Jonathan Gilbert’s journal. They eventually stake him when he doesn’t give any more conversation.

            They both see Alaric walk by and Stefan tells Damon to go check it out. Damon catches up to Alaric and uses compulsion on him. He thinks it works but what he doesn’t see is the vervain in Alaric’s hand. Thus saving Alaric’s life. He fakes the compulsion.

            Back over at the grill Caroline finally confronts Matt. She asks him why he was ignoring her. He says because that he doesn’t want to ruin their friendship because that was the only good thing he had left and he was afraid to take the next step. He also told her he wasn’t over Elena. Really Matt? So Caroline gets upset and says he already made the next step and that she doesn’t want to seem him again. Ouch!

            Alaric decides to walk Jenna home after the dance and when he gets to the door he apologizes for talking about his wife. Then he says her name was…Isabella! What?!  Uh-oh!

            While Ben is closing up the grill Anna watches him in the dark. As he starts to walk away she attacks him but he… turns around and grabs her by the next and pushes her up against the wall. Yeah. You guessed it. He’s a vampire too. He tells Anna that the witch (whom I’m guessing is Bonnie) is falling for him. Then he starts kissing Anna.

            So there were three of them in it together. Well now only two. A lot of this episode I did not see coming. I cannot wait until next week to see what happens when they go back to where it all started. Check it out on the CW Thursday @ 8.

Okay so how many of you thought Elena hit Damon? Yeah, well so did I. while trying to leave Stefan’s house Elena crashed into …..another vampire! Gasp! A new vampire in Mystic Falls? He was coming towards Elena when out of nowhere, dun duh duh dunnn, Damon comes and rescues Elena. Damon then kidnaps Elena and drivers her all the way to Georgia. Of, course Stefan tries to figure out if she’s okay and asks Bonnie to help him by using Elena’s necklace to channel her. But what Bonnie finds out is that her powers no longer work. Bonnie then rushes to her Grandma’s house (who, I am sorry to say, is sort of creepy.) Her grandma tells that whatever is blocking her power is in her head and it’s because she’s scared.

                While back over in Georgia, Elena is still with Damon. Her drives her to a bar where he find the person he was looking for. A witch named Bree. Then when Bree sees Damon walk into the bar she walks up to him and (wait for it!) makes out with him. Like full on! Damon, however, is only there to ask her how to break Emily’s spell. The spell that’s keeping Katherine held in the tomb. Bree tells Damon she can’t do anything because it’ Emily’s spell. Now Damon was said to know Bree for about 20 years, you would think she would be loyal to him right? Wrong!

                But back over in Mystic Falls, Bonnie is confronting her fears; by going back to the one place she is afraid of the most. The place where Damon attacked her. The place where Emily brought her while being possessed. Talking about facing your fears head on. Well while she’s there she falls into what seems to be like a tomb. The tomb where Katherine is being held? I think so!

                In Georgia now Elena is taking a ‘time-out’ and is having back to back shots with complete strangers and Damon.  Wow, she relaxed pretty fast.  But what Damon and Elena see didn’t see was that Bree made a very sneaky phone call to a guy. Who is this mysterious guy you ask? Well! While trying to assure Aunt Jenna she is fine , Elena stumbles a little then from behind her the ‘mysterious guy’ takes her from behind and takes her to the back of the bar. Damon is looking for Elena and that the first place he looks.  While looking for Elena another vampire attacks him. Number one: this is not the same vampire from the beginning. Number two: This is the mysterious guy.  So he’s pretty much beating up Damon and Elena decides to come to his aid and asks the vampire not to kill Damon. Do you want to know who this guy is? He’s Lexi’s boyfriend. You remember Lexi? The pretty blond who came to visit Stefan and the one Damon killed. Yeah, that’s why he wants to kill Damon. That’s also why Bree called him. She was also Lexi’s friend. Elena is now begging him not to kill Damon. So in the end he doesn’t.

                Back over in Mystic Falls, Bonnie is still trapped in the tomb. She starts to walk around to see if she can get signal to call for help. Yeah, Bonnie it’s not happening. But then she hears something by a huge door with a pentacle on it. She walks over to it and puts her head on the door and guess what she hears? Cries and moans from the other vampires.  Well, while Bonnie was trapped in the tomb, Stefan took a ride over to her grandma’s house to see if Bonnie was okay. After Bonnie’s grandma shakes hands with Stefan she knows what he is and where Bonnie’s fears were coming from.  She knows that she can trust him but won’t invite him in. Wise. She tells Stefan that Bonnie was not there and that she went out to confront her fears. And like a light bulb turning on Stefan knows where she is. Stefan then finds Bonnie in the tomb and helps her out.

              In Georgia before Damon and Elena leave for Mystic Falls, Damon decides to say good-bye to Bree. For good. But before he rips her heart out (yeah I know gross.) She tells him that there is a way to break Emily's spell. You just have to find her journal. On that not Elena and Damon head back to Mystic Falls. Elena arrives at Stefan's house where sine scary secrets wait. Elena is seriously confused as to why she looks like Katherine. Stefan tries to assure her shes nothing like Katherine. He says the first time he saw her he knew that. And when was this? The day of the accident that killed her parents. Stefan says he heard the car accident and went to try to save them, but Elena's father wouldn't let him until he saved Elena first. So when he did It was already to late to save her parents. He said ever since he saw her that day and how much it scared him that she looked like Katherine he's been watching her to see if they were alike. And he knew they weren't. Elena couldn't believe it but she still was confused as to why they looked alike. Stefan than says that he was too, and did a little research and what he found out changed Elena's life forever. Elena Gilbert was adopted. Double Gasp! Stefan assured her that it doesn't matter and that she was the one he loved. They then kissed and he held her while she cried. When Elena returned home, Aunt Jenna was furious! Saying how she couldn't trust Elena and that she thought Elena would never lie to her. Elena replied back with saying she should be the one to talk ( Go Elena!) Elena then told her she knows she was adopted.
